Professional Experience

Mr Gan Ping Sieu, the GPS of the Firm, practised corporate commercial, property and banking laws for a period of 20 years prior to his public appointment. Under his leadership, he has grown and steered the Firm into an exponential growth with geographical presence around Malaysia.

He was appointed a Senator and a Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia from June, 2010 until May, 2013.

He resumed legal practice in August, 2013 in areas of corporate commercial and public administrative laws focusing on governmental regulatory advisory work.

Over the years, Mr Gan’s unfailing passion and commitment to serve the public sees him undertaking public postings as municipal councillor, member of statutory board and an elected State Assemblyman in Johor. He is currently a Member of the National Consultative Committee on Political Financing under the Malaysian Prime Minister’s Department and also a co-president of CENBET, a civil society promoting moderation and good governance and legal advisor to numerous NGO and associations.

>Mr. Gan graduated from QMC University of London in 1989. He was later called to the English Bar at Lincoln’s Inn in 1990. He subsequently obtained his post graduate Diploma in Syariah Law from International Islamic University of Malaysia and LLM from University of Malaya.
